Fat Bombs

These fat bombs are so easy and delicious- a perfect paleo or keto treat.  Each ball contains approximately 14.5 g fat (depending on which nut butter you use), 3.5 g carbs, and 2.5 g protein.  They are not super sweet, so feel free to add a touch more maple syrup or sweetener of choice.  

With a fork mash 2 tablespoons each:

  • Hemp seeds

  • Coconut oil (room temperature fine)

  • Nut butter of choice (I used macadamia nut butter)

  • Cocoa Powder

  • Unsweetened finely shredded coconut + more for rolling on outside

    *Then, mix in 1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup and a pinch of salt.

Refrigerate or freeze for a few minutes until slightly firm so you can roll into balls. Once slightly firm divide into 5 portions and roll into balls, then dip into shredded coconut. Refrigerate again until firm.  Feel free to double the recipe by adding 1/4 cup of each ingredient and then 1 tsp. of maple syrup or to taste. This should make 10 fat bombs.
